Kay (they/he) is a lighting designer, programmer, technician, and storyteller! They earned a BA in Theatre Arts with a Technology and Design Concentration from SUNY New Paltz in May 2025. They have design, programming, and electrics credits in theatre, concerts, events, and more.

They are always hungry for new experiences and knowledge, and will never hesitate to dive into new creative and technical challenges. They love the collaborative process of theatre-making and illuminating each artist’s vision as it comes to life onstage. They have an interest in queer and trans stories, and their greatest joy in life is fostering connections among art and its viewers. Kay also particularly enjoys designing for new works, and adores being a part of the birth of new artistic endeavors.

Aside from theatre, Kay enjoys creating visual art and consuming (and hyperfixating) media like video games and film.
